Electrical Vehicle Charging Station Site Evaluation

Our sustainability team collaborated with the City of Excelsior to install a network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in downtown, supporting their clean transportation and climate goals. WSB began with site selection, identifying high-traffic areas to maximize accessibility and use. Our team then conducted site evaluations based on electrical infrastructure and scalability before researching vendors to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and future-proof chargers, aligning recommendations with the City’s community needs and sustainability goals. WSB partnered with utility providers to evaluate electric load capacity so as to not overburden grid and upgraded infrastructure where needed. WSB will oversee the installation of all chargers, ensuring regulatory compliance and usability.
