Buddy brings over 30 years of experience in highway design, construction, materials and maintenance. At the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), he held key roles including Atlanta District Engineer, Director of the Materials and Tests Division (MTD), Deputy Director of the Construction Division (CST), and Director of Construction for the Atlanta District. Buddy led initiatives to enhance statewide quality, collaborating with industry and academia, and chaired TxDOT’s Specification Committee. Buddy continues overseeing operations and maintaining active involvement with industry associations as he serves his vice president, strategy role.
