Since 2016, WSB has partnered with the City of Wyoming to modernize and strengthen its MS4 (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System) program—ensuring the City not only meets state and federal requirements but also builds a resilient, community-focused approach to stormwater management.

The City faced a key challenge: aligning its existing stormwater program with the increasingly complex requirements of the NPDES MS4 permit while preparing for upcoming reauthorization. WSB worked hand-in-hand with City staff to assess local needs, enhance compliance strategies, and streamline operations.

Our team developed and delivered annual staff training, supported field inspections and BMP implementation, created public education and outreach materials, and improved storm sewer system mapping. These efforts have helped the City build internal capacity, increase public awareness, and stay ahead of regulatory changes. As environmental regulations evolve, so must the systems that support them.

WSB continues to guide the City of Wyoming through a smooth transition into the next phase of MS4 compliance—ensuring clean water, informed communities, and a sustainable future.
