FM 1826 and FM 967 Roundabout

The redevelopment of area near FM 1826 and FM 967 required analysis of the intersection to ensure it could handle current and future traffic. We developed a roundabout alternative that would accommodate all traffic levels with the potential for expansion in the future. It includes a northbound to eastbound bypass lane, which acts as a truck acceleration lane. Our visualization was key in moving the project forward by giving stakeholders an idea of how the roundabout would fit in to the existing landscape and how the it would operate.
