About the program

WSB provides professional Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services to Texas state agencies, local governments, and eligible public entities through the Texas DIR Cooperative Contracts program. Our core focus is GIS consulting and implementation, including enterprise GIS, spatial analysis, data management, and system integration that support informed, data-driven decision-making.

Through this contract, WSB also offers complementary geospatial services such as mapping and cartography, engineered and topographic mapping, UAV/drone data collection, aerial surveys, and GIS-related software and infrastructure support. DIR customers benefit from streamlined procurement, compliant contracting, and direct access to WSB’s experienced GIS professionals and proven geospatial workflows.

GIS Services

WSB leverages GIS technologies to help agencies create, manage, analyze, and visualize geospatial data in support of planning, operations, and decision making. We design and implement GIS applications, tools, and dashboards that operate across platforms and devices, including web, mobile, and offline environments. Our solutions integrate with existing systems and data sources to deliver map-centric tools, metrics, and workflows aligned with business and operational needs.

GIS Enterprise Implementations

WSB designs, deploys, and supports enterprise GIS environments that provide the foundational software, hardware, and data architecture required for scalable geospatial operations. Our services include business needs assessment, system architecture design, platform selection (on-premises or cloud), and configuration of enterprise GIS software. We integrate GIS with existing IT infrastructure and authoritative data sources to ensure interoperability, performance, and long-term sustainability.

GIS Mapping & Cartography

WSB provides professional mapping and cartographic services that transform geospatial data into clear, effective visual products. GIS Automation

WSB provides aerial data collection and mapping services using UAV/drone platforms to capture high-resolution imagery and spatial data. Our services include orthophotography, LiDAR data collection, volumetric analysis, and precision mapping to support planning, infrastructure management, emergency response, and environmental assessment. FAA-compliant operations and established processing workflows ensure accurate, timely geospatial data products while reducing field time and project risk.

Getting Started

1. Ready to start the purchase order process or need help developing a project plan for your current geospatial products and services? Contact Justin Hansen, Director, GIS Services to keep your project moving forward.

2. Generate a purchase order made payable to WSB LLC.

3. Please reference contract number DIR-CPO-6048 on your purchase order and all communication.

Warranty and Return Policies

Professional Services Warranty (Standard of Care)

Consultant will perform Services in a manner consistent with the level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of Consultant’s profession currently practicing under similar conditions in the same locale.

Correction of Deficiencies

Customers may provide written notice to Consultant of any errors, inaccuracies, or other deficiencies in products or services provided under a Purchase Agreement within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of an invoice for the applicable products or services. Consultant will correct the reported error, inaccuracy, or deficiency for the Customer.

Published Warranty and Return Policies

In addition to the minimum warranty described above, Consultant will adhere to Consultant’s then-currently published warranty and return policies. Warranty and return policies offered to Tx DIR Customers will not be more restrictive or more costly than warranty and return policies offered to other similarly situated customers for similar products and services.
