WSB welcomes Spencer Mertes as director of HRIS and total rewards

Mertes will lead strategic HRIS initiatives and total rewards transformation. 

Minneapolis, Minn. – Fast-growing design and consulting firm WSB today announced the hiring of Spencer Mertes as the firm’s new director, HRIS & total rewards— a newly-created leadership position designed to advance WSB’s people-first initiatives and enhance staff experience.

With nearly 15 years of human resources experience spanning HR systems, data analytics, and compensation and benefits, Mertes brings deep expertise to the role.  

As director, HRIS & total rewards, Mertes will oversee the optimization and integration of critical platforms, including ADP Workforce Now and AskHR, while leading WSB’s compensation and benefits planning. She will enhance operational efficiency, improve staff experience, and elevate WSB’s total rewards philosophy.
