Xcel Energy initiated an 8-mile natural gas pipeline project on the Bad River Restoration, Wisconsin, in late September. The $40 million pipeline is designed to serve the new Bad River Restoration Community Center. The project employed GPS technology for precise tracking and detailed digital as-builts, fulfilling the requests of Tribal officials. WSB optimized the layout and grading designs, complying with environmental regulations. The collaboration involved Q3 Contracting, Xcel Energy, Bad River Reservation, and WSB, completing the project safely and ahead of the first snowfall, allowing construction of the community center to proceed uninterrupted through the winter season.
