Karls serves as Director of Transportation Design at WSB, where she leads roadway design innovation, right-of-way planning, and large-scale transportation project delivery. With more than 15 years of experience, Karls focuses on developing designs that enhance safety, mobility, and environmental stewardship while balancing cost, constructability, and long-term performance. Based in Fargo, North Dakota, Karls is advancing WSB’s growth and presence in the state while supporting the firm’s broader transportation division.
