Kentucky Solar

WSB was contracted by a renewable energy client to perform a ground control survey for 3 35 MW solar farms in Kentucky. Our survey crews performed all the ground control field work and created aerial photo base mapping, 2D plan metric mapping and one foot contours, this information was delivered to the client for aid in development of these solar farms.

Pheasant Point Renewable Natural Gas Pipeline

WSB partnered with Waste Management Renewable Energy Solutions (WMRE) to support the Pheasant Point Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) project. The project transports RNG from WMRE’s production facility at the Pheasant Point landfill to a designated termination point. This termination point will allow for a future tie-in to a custody transfer facility. The project included engineering and installation of a new 8-inch steel pipeline designed for high-pressure service.

Sky Ranch Renewables

In 2024, the Sky Ranch Solar Energy Center was officially commissioned, marking a significant milestone in renewable energy. Spanning 1,600 acres, the center features a 190-megawatt solar array and a 50-megawatt battery energy storage system. The power generated is transferred to PNM’s power grid, supplying energy to Meta’s data center in Los Lunas.
