29th Street Midtown Greenway Trail, Minneapolis

WSB was selected by Hennepin County Community Works to provide full construction services for construction of the 29th Street Midtown Greenway Trail, Phase II. This phase of the project includes a trail and pedestrian walk in the 29th Street rail corridor between 5th Avenue South and approximately 21st Avenue South in the City of Minneapolis. The trail/pedestrian walk that was constructed in this phase is approximately 7,300 feet in length. Pedestrian ramps connecting local streets to the proposed trail/pedestrian walk were provided at Park Avenue, 13th Avenue, and 18th Avenue. Retaining walls were built at the pedestrian ramps and for approximately a 3-block stretch on the north side of the proposed trail/pedestrian walk. WSB’s responsibilities on the project include construction inspection, construction administration, testing, and construction staking.
