GIS Implementation, Minnetrista

The high positional accuracy requirements of the City of Minnetrista required a unique solution that included completing a survey of all utility structures within the City using survey grade GPS equipment. This information was then integrated with existing GIS data into an ArcSDE database. Planning, public works, and law enforcement staff were trained on use of the GIS including map creation, updating data, and checking data out to handheld units for disconnected editing.
