Flying Cloud Airport Expansion

Eden Prairie, MN

Approximately 280 acres of land was acquired to protect the runway approaches and to construct a new hanger area. The north runway, now 3,900 feet long, was extended 300 feet. The south runway was extended 1,220 feet for a total length of 5,000 feet, and now can safely accommodate most business aircraft fully loaded.

• Provided construction staking for storm sewer, blue topping, curb and gutter, and lighting
• Created a machine control model which guided the dozers and blades for all the grading work
