WSB Dressed Down for Leukemia and Lymphoma

WSB participated in the Twin Cities' 17th annual Dress Down for Leukemia & Lymphoma day on May 3 and raised $4,010! In exchange for a donation to the Minnesota Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, staff members each received an official Dress Down sticker. This allowed them to dress casually or in school/college theme attire and also receive a coupon for SUBWAY Restaurants. WSB has been the top fundraising company for the past three years.
Bret Weiss, President, says, ""We've all been touched by cancer in one way or another. What we do now, through our efforts to raise funds for the LLS, will affect our future and the future of our families. Our WSB staff members truly want to make a difference and will continue to be a part of this vital effort."
WSB supported this important fundraising program to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society achieve its mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Leukemia is a form of cancer that strikes the blood-forming tissues in children and adults. It is the number one cancer killer of children. However, due to dramatic research advances funded through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, childhood cure rates are approaching 80 percent.
