Construction Schedule

Schedule as of July 7, 2008

On December 13, 2006, project construction began on the bridge. Since then the roadway construction has been underway and will continue through the beginning of July 2008. The final lift of bituminous pavement was completed on June 28 and striping finished on July 1, 2008. The contractor is finishing the remaining site cleanup, repairs, and remaining site reconstruction which should be completed by July 18, 2008. All of the existing roadways are open to traffic with the exception of the Tilden Avenue connection which will remain closed until the site cleanup is completed. As part of a separate project, MCES is installing a new sanitary sewer lift station which MCES anticipates will be complete in late fall 2008.

The following schedule, as of July 7, 2008, is based on the contractors proposed construction schedule and broken out by streets to better define the anticipated dates each activity is planned to be completed. Hayden Lake Road, French Lake Road, Vera Street, and Business Park Boulevard are open to traffic. The new Tilden Avenue connection between French Lake Road and Hayden Lake Road is anticipated to open to traffic on July 11, 2008.
