Bridge Design Engineer – Structural Group

What You Will Do:
• Bridge design and project management for County, City and Trunk Highway Bridge Projects utilizing structural software including MathCAD, Leap Bridge, Staad and Microstation.
• Bridge Load Rating for County, City and Trunk Highway Projects using Virtis, Staad and MathCAD software.
• Bridge Safety Inspection of in-service bridges for various Cities and Counties throughout Minnesota.
• Structural Design of environmental structures including concrete water storage tanks, clarifiers and buildings.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have a Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of five years work experience of bridge and related structural design. Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota is preferred. Candidate should be familiar with LRFD design procedures and have proven experience with bridge design software. Certification as a Bridge Safety Inspection Team Leader preferred but not required. Excellent technical, communication and organizational skills are required.
