CONSTRUCTION INSPECTORS

WSB & Associates, Inc. will have 2-3 full time openings this spring in our Minneapolis office for a Municipal / Transportation Construction Inspector in our Construction Services Group based out of our Minneapolis office. We are looking for a range of experience levels from entry level to a Chief Inspector. As with many construction related occupations, this position is subject to seasonal layoff depending on workload.

What You Will Do: You will perform field observation, verify compliance with the plans and specifications, prepare pay estimates, and produce project documentation for municipal, county and Mn/DOT projects. Documentation will include daily diaries, quantity calculations and backup documentation, letters, memos and spreadsheets. You may also help with proposals, project budgets and schedules and may be involved in design-build, pavement management, or material testing opportunities.

What You Will Bring: Excellent technical, communication, organizational skills and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record are required. Experience with at least one of the following is required: material testing, Mn/DOT FieldOps or TRACS, civil engineering construction experience, or a two year technical degree from an accredited school in a field related to civil engineering construction. Current Mn/DOT certifications are desired, but not required.
